Mountain pine
50cm x 200cm x 50cm
Rest consists of four stump-like sections of the trunk of a several hundred years old mountain pine. They are placed in order, and the contours of the human body are carved into the wood. The sculpture opens for both a visual and a tactile experience. The beholder may feel the shape and the materials by immersing him- or herself in the artwork.
