When The Wind Died Down

2012

Pine wood branches
50cm x 100cm x 100cm

In a clearing. Branches from a pine tree are woven together in a pile, lopped off as part of the forest labour or assembled by the stormy weather. Protected by surrounding peaceful cores of pines as a ceremonial tribute to the bonds between man and trees through forest labour and homage to the heart of the matter, nature.

Exhibtited indoors at The Vigeland Museum, Oslo and The Norwegian Sculpture Biennale 2013
